About Me

I have had the wonderful opportunity to work with people possessing of diverse backgrounds and struggles. This has included children, adolescents, and adults, and with all manner of mental health and substance abuse challenges.

I graduated from Marymount University in 2016 with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Curiosity and a love of listening to people brought me into this field, and in school I learned how I could take an active role, not just in getting to know people, but in helping them change as well. Experiencing this work clicked on a lightbulb in my brain and I came out of school with a passion. I am devoted to my work as a therapist and am forever a student of the work and of the science of psychotherapy.

My approach to therapy mirrors who I am as a person. In my free time, I am an avid reader of science fiction, fiction, history, and politics – anything that helps me to understand, and question, reality. I enjoy the outdoors, cooking, baking, playing with my dog, and the occasional video game.
